- Hillsboro Christian Church Fellowship HallCome as you are, no charge for joining in and everyone is welcome. This is the only event held in June, specifically on Tuesday, June 17th, in Hillsboro. Enjoy some time at "Cooking through the Calendar," at the Hillsboro Christian Church Fellowship Hall at 11am - 12pm. Get ready for Rice and Beans Salad... you enjoy a tasty salad that has punch, and is a colorful meal in itself. This series will cover the basics of estate planning, led by Rhonda Curran Koth from Edward Jones. Participants in the first session will complete a survey to help shape the topics for the following two sessions. Lunch will be provided.

4-H Sewing Project - June 23rd - 9am-4pm

Lunch is provided.
Youth will make their own pillowcase, create a quilt piece and begin work on a needlework project. Participant is required to bring 1 yard of 100% cotton fabric. Lunch is provided. NOTE: All Project Days are ages 9-18 unless otherwise specified.
You will learn to sew straight stitch on sewing machine for seams and hemming an edge.
To register, call Fleming County Extension Office at 606-845-4641. Paperwork will need to be filled out prior to Project Day attending. Spots will be filled on a first come first serve basis.
Baby Quilt Making Day - Tuesday - June 24th at 9am - 4pm
- Fleming County Extension OfficeCome join the fun and learn how to make your first baby quilt. You do not need any existing sewing skills. The public is always invited to join in the day, quilting and having a great time doing it. Lunch is provided with drink and dessert.
