In-PersonLAUGH & LEARN PLAYDATE - Playdates are now set for 2025: September through December, 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at Fleming County Extension Office. Each month has a "theme" for 1-5 year old with supervising adult. Register is required, so act soon.

LAUGH & LEARN PLAYDATE
Description:
This Laugh and Learn Playdate curriculum includes 12 suggested Laugh and Learn Playdate Sessions and details each activity to be included in each session. Each topic identifies a specific month to which the activities coincide to help celebrate holidays or seasonal festivities.
Each session includes the primary learning components and learning modality to be included in each playdate. Activities include a book or story, craft, music, snack, gross motor activity, fine motor activity. There is a method to the madness, for each activity, there is a school readiness objective each activity meets. The school readiness objectives are derived directly from the Kentucky Governor’s Office of Early Childhood to assure we are working to improve kindergarten readiness in KY. Therefore, each playdate session will include a group of kids 5 years old and/or under, accompanied by an adult.
Schedule:
September - December, 2025
- September 3rd - "The Farm"
- October 1st - "Pumpkins"
- November 5th - "Thankfulness"
- December 3rd - "Gingerbread"
10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.

If school is canceled due to weather, our playdate will also be canceled.
