Fleming County 4-Hers win BIG at Kentucky 4-H State Shoot
In September, several members of the Fleming County 4-H Shooting Sports Club competed at the Kentucky State Shoot held in Wilmore, KY and Berea, Ky.
The ten Fleming County 4-H Members attending the Kentucky State Shoot were:
Wyatt Barker - Shotgun;
Evan Arrasmith – Shotgun;
Ella Sargent – Archery Bow Hunter, Archery Target Compound, and Air Pistol;
Mackenzie Conley - Archery Bow Hunter, Archery Target Compound, and 22 Sport Rifle;
Briley Story - 22 Sport Rifle;
Bobbi Applegate – Black Powder Percussion and Air Pistol;
Terri Applegate – 22 Sport Rifle and Air Pistol;
Crecie Kelly – 22 Pistol and Air Pistol;
Ashley Hunt – Black Powder Percussion, Black Powder Pistol, and Air Pistol;
Alayna Hunt – Black Powder Percussion and Air Pistol.
Club members finished, as follows:

Range Safety Meeting – May 18, 2021 @ 6pm
The Range Safety Meeting will involve rotations to all disciplines
and allow time for questions from both parents and youth.
- Please do not bring firearms to this meeting.
First Range Meeting – May 25, 2021 beginning at 6pm
4-H Shooting Sports will meet at the range
every Tuesday at 6pm beginning 5/25 weather permitting.
Cancellation notifications will come out when decisions are made via remind.
- Please notify the club if you will not make it to practice

4-H Shooting Sports Club is an introduction to the safe and responsible use of firearms safely. It teaches leadership and responsibility in a non-formal environment while offering fun activities for youth and adults. While competition is not the main focus,
the program does offer opportunities to participate in shooting events, competing in various disciplines and age groups.
Once you enroll and sign up for our "Push Alerts",
the "remind system" will notify you of adverse weather
and all up-to-date information.
Be sure to check the “Shooting Sports” section of the
4-H enrollment form to get up to date information!
