Mental Health First Aid Program - May 22nd - 9am-4pm

Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) teaches you how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges among adults. You’ll build skills and confidence you need to reach out and provide initial support to those who are struggling. You’ll also learn how to help connect them to appropriate support.

Fleming County Breakfast Fundraiser
- Fleming County Extension OfficeThe Fleming County Extension Homemakers are holding a Breakfast Fundraiser on Friday, May 24th.
Take your breakfast to go or order for delivery (within Fleming County only and will deliver to businesses, not residential homes.) Businesses may order in bulk if delivery is within same business.
Breakfast will include: Country Ham Biscuit, Hashbrown Rounds, Cutie Orange, Bottle of Water for $10 per order. Open to everyone in Fleming County. DEADLINE TO ORDER: MAY 23RD, 2024.

Baby Quilt Making Day - Tuesday - May 28th at 9am - 4pm
- Fleming County Extension OfficeCome join the fun and learn how to make your first baby quilt. You do not need any existing sewing skills. The public is always invited to join in the day, quilting and having a great time doing it. Lunch is provided with drink and dessert.

- Fleming County Extension OfficeFleming County Extension Homemakers is now offering a "Lavender & Essential Oils Class”, on May 28th at 6:00pm, at the Fleming County Extension Office. There is a limited number of participants at 24 for this class.
4-H Sewing Project - May 29 - 9:30am-3pm

$10 Registration Fee. Lunch is provided in the registration fee.
You will learn to:
~ Insert elastic or drawstring
~ Sew and trim a crotch curve
Youth will make a pair of elastic waistband shorts. Fabrics will be provided unless youth wants to bring something specific. If you bring your own, it should be a cotton fabric.
To register, call Fleming County Extension Office at 606-845-4641. Paperwork will need to be filled out prior to Project Day attending. Spots will be filled on a first come first serve basis.

Registration Fee: $10 You will learn to: Discover the fundamentals of electricity and energy. • Learn the difference between. AC and DC current. • Discover how electricity flows through a circuit.
